The crowd at Midnight Madness was mostly sedate, apart from this mysterious penguin who kept inching toward Microsoft spokesperson Dave Wascha and the CNET News.com camera. Several plainclothes store employees tried getting the big bird to roost elsewhere; others were overheard complaining that the penguin, who sported a Hot or Not.com T-shirt, was just there for the publicity.
