Automaker Zap is going to extremes to make Americans buy its plan for small, low-polluting alternative-enegy vehicles.

Zap showed off this solar-powered Xebra Xero recently in San Francisco. Zap says the solar panel can be removed and set up outside as a charging station. Click here for more Zap cars and scooters.
