Images: Cool concept cars for the highway--and Xbox 360

The ten finalists for the Peugeot Design Contest 2007 have been announced. The winner will get to see a full-scale model of the car built by Peugeot and debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Microsoft will also make the winning car a "drivable" car for one of its Xbox 360 video games.

The final winner will be announced at the end of February.

Gustavo Ferrero of Venezuela is one of the few finalists with an off-road sport-utility vehicle. The Allscape is also one of few entries placed in an outdoor setting.
