Mobile navigation is a hot technology at 3GSM in Barcelona this week, with both Nokia and Motorola announcing that they have developed navigation applications for their handsets. Third-party software providers also have products that can be loaded onto cell phones or PDAs to help people get around. A small company called CompeGPS offers a mapping product called TwoNav. It's designed for outdoor enthusiasts and people who need accurate and detailed maps. The application runs on several handheld devices, including several Nokia handsets.
