Is it more exciting to see a concept car you designed built as a full-scale model or driven in an Xbox 360 video game?
Mihai Paneitescu, a design student from Turin, Italy, is about to find out. He has been named the winnter of the
Paneitescu's Peugeot Flux is set to be built as a full-scale model and to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Paneitescu is scheduled to take home a trophy for his design from the International Motor Show in Geneva in next month.
Microsoft also plans to make the Flux "drivable" for one of its Xbox 360 video games. A model of the vehicle will be made and sold by Norev. And Paneitescu gets a check for about $7,800.
In his description, Paneitescu said the name Flux alludes to a lifestyle of constant movement and that he envisioned the car's occupants as always in touch with their surroundings, whether driving in nature or the city.
The Flux is designed to run on a slim hydrogen power unit hidden with the tank under the front hood.
