A month after a State of the Union speech in which he called for more research into clean energy and renewable fuels, President Bush continues to stump for ethanol. On Thursday, he got a look at this ethanol-fueled racecar during a tour of biotech company Novozymes North America in Franklinton, N.C.
Bush has set a goal for the next 10 years of reducing U.S. gasoline consumption by 20 percent and of raising use of ethanol or alternative fuel to 35 million gallons.
