This TV isn't available in the U.S. In fact, it's made chiefly for the Indian market, where CRTs still dominate the market. Ninety-three percent of all TVs sold in the Asia Pacific market are CRTs, according to iSuppli. Though Sony isn't investing in any new technology for its North American tube TVs this year--or probably ever again--it's still improving the picture quality in sets like this one, the KV-SZ29M80-50.
