Samsung is one of the few major TV manufacturers still coming out with new tube TVs. The TX-T2782 is 27 inches, a category that LCDs of equivalent sizes still can't compete with pricewise. Though not a widescreen, Samsung says it is capable of receiving HD content and is thirty percent thinner than the average bulky CRT. Available in April for $549.
