LAS VEGAS--The photo industry is moving beyond mugshots on a mug. Digital photography has made it easy for people to print their photos at home, but an entire industry geared to printing those shots for you is expanding into new territory that isn't so easily reached with an inkjet printer.

At the Photo Marketing Association trade show in Las Vegas, many merchandising companies were trying to link up with camera shops, portrait photographers and others with access to paying customers. InfoTrends expects the market for photo merchandising will increase from less than $300 million in 2005 to more than $850 million in 2010.
