foam composting-toilet
Composting toilets are no longer just for remote national parks without indoor plumbing. This foam flush-toilet uses 3 ounces of water to feed a composting system (by comparison, most low-flow toilets use well over a gallon of water per flush). The system has been used by commercial businesses, such as McDonalds, and homeowners. The toilet/composting system supplier, Clivus Economic Solutions, also provides ongoing maintenance services to empty the compost, which can be used as a nutrient-rich soil fertilizer.
