Researchers showed off a new prototype of the company's colored electronic paper. The flexible film, less than 0.8mm thick, is similar to liquid crystal displays. Shown here in a hard case, the 8-inch, 640X480 resolution display requires zero power to display the image. Power is required to change the image, but radio waves (via a cell phone, for example) are sufficient.
