Microsoft's chairman lost 2-1 in a penalty shootout played out on three jumbo screens in front of Microsoft Mexico employees, according to the Associated Press. Gates was south of the border to celebrate the software giant's 20th anniversary in Mexico, to meet with business and government leaders, and generally to promote the promise of technology in areas such as health care and education. He also spoke in favor of immigration reform.
