These screenshots, taken in February, show start-up Virtual Ubiquity's Flash-based online word processor, Buzzword, scheduled for a limited beta this spring, and an open beta in the fall.
Web-based text editors are typically written using a Web development technique called Ajax, which lets people drag and drop items and obviates the need to press the browser refresh button.
But Virtual Ubiquity chose to write Buzzword to run in Adobe's Flash Player. Flash is installed in most Web browsers.
