The student mechanics hope to add a nitrous injection system to give the roadster a boost upon takeoff. They want the El Camino to lick a quarter of a mile in 14 seconds. "We wanted to make it as fast as it was running out of the factory and run it on a clean fuel," said Chris Kendricks, who has worked on the Chevy for more than a year.
