Images: Museum mashup shows Darfur destruction

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum has launched a Google Earth layer to provide interactive visual information designed to raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis in the Darfur region of Sudan. Here, the layer is shown in the Google Earth program. Each red flame icon represents a village that has been damaged or destroyed.
