Ribbon cable
A traditional ribbon cable connected the IIP's basic monochrome LCD display to the unit's circuit board.

- I had the honor of completely disassembling a toasted HP LJ III, and saved the scanner/laser assembly as a desk paperweight. It is a marvel of engineering and a reminder of what a company can do when it "maxes" its resources!... (Read the rest)
