Scanner motor unit
In this view of the DC controller, you can just make out the cover (look for the orange sticker with black lettering) of the unit's scanner motor.

- I had the honor of completely disassembling a toasted HP LJ III, and saved the scanner/laser assembly as a desk paperweight. It is a marvel of engineering and a reminder of what a company can do when it "maxes" its resources!... (Read the rest)
