Los Angeles publicist Colette Brooks is a media-savvy clean-diesel pioneer. In 2005 Brooks set up BioBling, a quirky company that spruces up and re-sells used diesel cars to run on biodiesel. She cofounded the L.A. Biodiesel Coop in 2005 and was instrumental in arranging for Cameron Diaz and other celebrities to arrive at the 2003 Academy Awards in Toyota Priuses.
