Dell announced a new product for business computing called Project Hybrid, but gave scant details on it. The project includes blade servers, like the prototype shown here. "We believe blades are an important option, and I stress option, not mandate," said Jay Parker, head of Dell's server business. The prototype will be 20 percent more energy efficient than what its competitors are shipping, Parker claimed.
