'Lost' in 'Star Wars'
Josh Holloway, who plays Sawyer on the TV adventure drama Lost (in photo, holding gun), has said that his portrayal of the snarky, cynical character was influenced by Star Wars' Han Solo. The show's scripts give the occasional hint to it, too. In an episode in Lost's third season, Sawyer and two other characters managed to break into a facility operated by the mysterious "Others" by posing as prisoners and outwitting the guard (pictured on the ground).

After ambushing the guard, Sawyer said, "Don't get mad at me just because you were stupid enough to fall for the old Wookiee prisoner gag," referring to the scene in Star Wars where Luke and Han steal Stormtrooper outfits and make it look like Chewbacca is their captive.
