intellectual property office

At the China Beijing International High Tech Expo, foreign and domestic manufacturers, along with Chinese government officials, gathered to demonstrate the latest products coming out of China. Some of the companies and their products may be unfamiliar to American consumers at the moment, but that may not be the case five years from now. CNET News.com's Michael Kanellos traveled to Beijing for the weeklong expo, which ended May 29.

They have a hotline--dial 12312--to report intellectual property infringement in a country awash with pirated software and movies. (Pirated Windows XP sells for $1.30 in the streets, for example.) The man attending the booth, though, is taking a nap. Does anyone else see the irony?
