At the Via Technology Forum, Via CEO and President Wenchi Chen and Tim Brown (no relation to Richard Brown) demonstrate the prototype for Via's new NanoBook mini computer. Meanwhile, Asustek and Intel introduced the Eee PC 701 (the Es stand for easy). The portable has a 7-inch display, weighs less than 2 pounds and is built primarily for Internet use.
