Tomy employee with Air Guitar Pro
Playing air guitar doesn't have to leave you empty-handed. Japanese toy maker Tomy Takara on Thursday unveiled its Air Guitar Pro--a key piece of it seen here in the left hand of a Tomy employee at the International Tokyo Toy Show. An infrared sensor picks up the motions of the air-strumming hand to play prepackaged songs, including Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" and Aerosmith's "Walk This Way." The company plans to release the gadget in late July.
