The good: The 2007 Jaguar Super V8 uses a classic body style that will win many people over on first sight. Its supercharger makes a delightful sound and pushes the engine output up to 400 horsepower. Bluetooth cell phone integration works very nicely, and gives access to your phone book from the car's LCD.
The bad: The DVD player and CD changer both are mounted in the trunk, so you need to preplan your entertainment choices; there is no auxiliary audio jack; and the dashboard disc slot doesn't read MP3 CDs. Fuel economy is poor, at well under 20mpg.
The bottom line: The 2007 Jaguar Super V8 looks good and features a luxurious interior, whether you sit in the front or back. But its tech offerings are a mixed bag, with a dated stereo but modern cell phone integration.
