The Crucible's Fire Arts Festival, which this year took place from July 11-14 in Oakland, Calif., blends industrial arts, ballet, opera, hip-hop, aerial dance and fire. The annual event is produced by The Crucible , a nonprofit industrial-arts educational center in Oakland that offers classes in welding, blacksmithing, glass flameworking, silver casting, woodwork and more.
