Chimp walking upright
Push it! Go for it! The University of California at Davis trained five chimps to walk upright and to "knucklewalk." They found that some of the chimps consumed less energy walking in these ways than on all fours. The study hopes to shed light on why human ancestors went two-legged some 10 million years ago.
